Puttu Maavu

Puttu maavu, also known as puttu flour, is a coarsely ground rice flour used to make puttu, a popular South Indian steamed rice cake. It's known for its coarser texture and drier consistency compared to other rice flours used for South Indian breakfasts. The flour is typically mixed with water and grated coconut before being steamed in a cylindrical mold called a puttu maker.
